Auto Remarketing: UVeye-myKaarma partnership brings AI inspection reports to customers’ phones

UVeye and myKaarma team up to bring AI inspection reports to customers' phones, revolutionizing the automotive service industry with transparency and efficiency.

UVeye’s new partnership has given it instant karma — or, more accurately, Kaarma.

The company has teamed with service lane technology provider myKaarma to integrate its artificial intelligence-powered automated vehicle inspection technology with myKaarma’s communication, payment and service lane tools and instantly send the data to a car owner’s smartphone.

The integration is designed to allow dealerships to streamline their service process and share detailed inspection data with customers via visual reports on drivers’ phones. The companies said that will enhance customer satisfaction through trust and transparency, as well as saving time and simplifying operations for service advisors by reducing the need for manual data entry.

UVeye said its technology detects issues such as underbody leaks, broken parts or rust patterns; worn tires, uneven wear patterns, sidewall damage, bulges or cuts in tires; and exterior issues such as scratches or dents.

“While we expand our reach and install our systems at thousands of dealerships across the U.S., our partnership with myKaarma is pivotal in our mission to revolutionize customer service and transparency at dealerships,” UVeye CEO Amir Hever said. “By combining our automated inspection systems with myKaarma’s ultra user-friendly communication platforms, dealerships can provide detailed inspection reports directly to customers through apps, email, text and phone calls.”

When a vehicle drives through a UVeye system, the myKaarma platform allows the dealership to send inspection results directly to the customer’s phone. Customers receive a welcome text along with the inspection results, enabling them to review the vehicle’s condition and share the results for second opinions.

“This collaboration with UVeye underscores our commitment to innovation in the automotive service industry.” myKaarma CEO Ujj Nath said. “Together, we’re setting a new standard for how dealerships communicate with their customers, ensuring every vehicle is inspected thoroughly and every customer is informed.”

The companies said the initial integration will continue to be upgraded with new features. Among them: myKaarma’s MPI product, which provides video inspections to customers, will be automated using UVeye’s detection technology, and UVeye plans to integrate its leads into myKaarma’s BDC product, allowing dealerships to contact prospects provided by UVeye.
