Customer interaction software company myKaarma has bought PocketExpert — a dealership communication, online payments, and multi-point inspection platform that is gaining interest in the auto community. This serves to increase myKaarma's dealership customer count by 550 rooftops.
As a result of the purchase, the companies said, PocketExpert’s customers will join the myKaarma customer family. This shift will allow customers to take advantage of myKaarma offerings as well, including scheduling, video multi-point inspections, pickup and more.
Offering a bit more background on PocketExpert, the company was founded by Garrett Jockel. Jockel aimed to “bring useful to solutions to hardworking technicians and advisers,” the press release announcing the news said. The firm has since grown to include over 2,550 service advisors representing the aforementioned 550 auto dealerships.

The business transfer was completed on May 18. And Jockel and team will stay on as members of MyKaarma.
Now, PocketExpert will continue providing solutions or dealership customers “without interruption for the foreseeable future, and these dealerships will also be eligible to take advantage of the solutions offered by myKaarma,” the press release stated.
